Through the love of cooking and authentic family recipes, Pat Fettig, Brett and Dadnitri Johnson started Empanadas Aquí in the spring of 2014. When Dadnitri moved to Cincinnati from Caracas, Venezuela, and married Brett, a lot had changed for her. Because she missed home so much, Pat and Brett decided to start a food truck that would bring a taste of Dadni's home to Cincinnati. With Pat's marketing and market research background, Brett's experience in the food and hospitality industry, and Dadni's recipes, the food truck was the perfect idea. Empanadas are a traditional Hispanic dish that can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or as a snack. They are Latin American turnovers that can be fried or baked and are filled with different combinations of meats, cheeses, and vegetables. EmpanadasAqui.com
